Inside a Yūgen Box, you'll find a composition of boosters designed to offer security, value, and magic upon opening.
Principles common to all Drop #1 Yūgen Boxes
- At least 9 boosters per pack
- 3 modern boosters including one 151 + one 'Collection' booster
- Bonus 'discovery' boosters in other languages
- Stock sourced primarily from sealed displays, official boxes, and blisters rather than loose boosters—especially for vintage items
The distribution of boosters in each pack is decided in advance in a file. We publish the hash of this file on the blockchain to show it cannot be modified. For every order, a pack number is then drawn at random via the blockchain, guaranteeing true randomization and no cheating.
Where do the boosters come from?
The quality and origin of Yūgen Box stock
A key point of the Yūgen Box is the quality and origin of the stock. For Drop #1, we prioritized to the maximum:
- ✓ Sealed displays
- ✓ Official collection boxes
- ✓ Sealed boxes and blisters
This is particularly important for vintage boosters. Whenever possible, these boosters come directly from sealed products (XY displays, Evolving Skies boxes, EB-06, Roaring Skies, etc.). The goal is simple: avoid the 'weighed boosters' effect and guarantee buyers real chances of big hits.
This is a major difference compared to many premium Mystery Boxes on the market, which often rely on loose boosters with unknown history.

Preparation of the 100 Drop #1 boxes
Before launch, we prepare a file of 100 Yūgen Boxes. Each box receives a unique number and a precise composition for each type of booster (list of boosters, presence or absence of the legendary item, etc.).
Truth file + hash on the blockchain
We create a file that describes the exact contents of each box. We then calculate the cryptographic fingerprint (hash) of this file and publish this hash on the blockchain before the first sale of the drop. If we change a single box afterwards, the hash no longer matches, and everyone can see it.
On-chain VRF draw for every order
When you order a Yūgen pack, a VRF random draw performed on the blockchain selects a box number for you from those remaining. This draw depends neither on us nor on our server: it is performed by a verifiable random oracle, and the history is public.
Publication of the full file after the drop
Packs are shipped as orders come in, strictly respecting the pre-determined content (matching the file with the published hash). Once all 100 boxes of Drop #1 have been sold and shipped, we publish the full file with the detailed content of every box, as well as the 'order → box number' matches. You can then verify that everything corresponds exactly to what was announced from the start.

On-chain draw of your box
Immediately after your order, a VRF random draw on the blockchain designates a box number from those remaining. This number is assigned to you and will be visible immediately.
Receipt and opening
We prepare the shipment of the box corresponding to your number. You receive your Yūgen pack at home, open it, and discover the contents. All pre-reserved boxes will be shipped starting from the sales opening day (see deadline).
